Help Me Get a Foam Cannon Setup

    Hey folks,

I am looking to get a pressure washer and a foam cannon for my weekend washes. Initially, I figured it's as easy as buying a pressure washer, buying a foam cannon from AG and hook the two together. Amazon tells me the AR383 is a good pressure washer.

Now, just as I started searching for details about this AR383, I realized that none of the foam cannons fit this washer and essentially it will be worthless since it has all proprietary fittings- at least that's the talk

So I am wondering if you fine guys can help me choose a pressure washer that would work with one of the foam cannons that AG sells. I am a newbie to this kind of setup, so pardon my ignorance.

If you want that pressure washer, then maybe just get a new gun for it.

The AR 383 That I am looking at on line appears to come with a foam gun. Has anyone used this included foam gun?

I am leaning toward this PW due to the horrible reviews that every other PW in this price range seems to get. AR is the only company that seems to fix the problems with their products and many people seem happy with it.

from my quick google searching it looks like it uses a bosch style connector for the lance that goes into the gun, my husky has the same style of connector.people are saying the green earth foam gun from home depot works great, and if you want to save some money google "MTM hydro foam lance"...can find them for about 55$ just will need to get the adapters from autogeek

Re: Help Me Get a Foam Cannon Setup

So are you saying you can use the AR383 and get fittings to make the foam cannon work? What about quick connect type fittings?

I'm looking at the same type set up so, was going to do it and heard propreitary fittings which made me decide to perhaps not buy it.

Was thinking of going just hose type foam cannon..
