I've been wanting one but this worries me. Is it only coming in greased or is it breaking off?

I thought the nozzle tore from the hose!
It seemed the ribbed profile of the hose was just that,when in fact it's also the thread profile as well.
Wasn't trying to be fricken dramatic!

Use some silicone sealer/adhesive on it before you screw it back on, so if you ever need to take it off in the future you can. Glue may be a little to permanent.

I appreciate your advise (Thank You) and may take it into consideration but I can't think of a reason for the nozzle NOT to be attached to that part of the hose as there is another spot that clamps the two together.
When the nozzle unscrewed from the hose,the air velocity/pressure clearly dropped from having no nozzle on the end of it.From stepping down from the hose I.D to the nozzle I.D/outlet,is where this unit really picks up huge air pressure.

My MB did the same thing last week, but did not cause any damage.
For the cost of this unit it should not have this issue.

In a sense, it's actually a feature. You have the option to swap attachments if needed, as well as replacing a possibly broken piece instead of the hose and all. With a little care and a quick check I don't see this being an issue.

I would agree if the system worked better for changing attachments. A feature should not cause failure in the middle of use without choosing to do so.

I spend a great deal of time caring for my products thank you very much.

My recollection is there was a little bit of glue from the factory. I got mine years ago, but I had to take the hose apart because I added an extension hose. As has been said, you need to keep an eye on these connections or add a drop of glue (as noted, a lot of glue might interfere with a future desire to disassemble).

I got my Metro Vac n blow back in July. I have used it probably 4 times. I've already noticed the coupling separating from the hose. Not liking that, but I will try the mentioned solution if need be.
