    Rigid or Craftsman Dry/Wet Vac?

Anyone use either one of these? I definately want to get the 5.0 HP/4 gal. sized vac, but am debating which one?

I think I'm leaning towards Rigid since I believe they have a pretty good reputation in this area.

    Any suggestions?

    I would get this one.......

    I have this one......(same motor).....

It's just better suited for my use. The home detailer would love the all in one one. This thing has sooooo much suction. Lifetime warranty is awesome as well. I use mine everyday for 3-4 hours total some days. It's my recommendation.

The Ridgid toolbox vacuum is the one I'm planning on picking up the next time it goes on sale at HD. I like that everything is self-contained. I've done a lot of research on vacuums on and the two that Justin suggested were the top two on my list too. It just comes down to what you want and how you're going to use it.

Lifetime warranty?! That by itself is enough to buy it over the CRAPsman. (j/k I hate sears, Craftsman is usually a good brand) Warranty is only 1 year on the Craftsman with an extended warranty for i think 2 more years for like 15% of the price. Rigid = better IMO... but what if we put shopvac into this equation. Rigid still win?

I've had very good luck with my 6 h.p. 16 gallon Ridgid. It's much quieter than my Craftsman of equivalent size.

When it comes to a persons worth, money is a lousy way to keep score.

I have the 4 gallon Rigid vac. IMO it's very good vacuum that becomes GREAT when you add the Pro Hose kit. That said, the self contained one becomes useless as it will no longer be self contained with the longer and better hose.
