Question Deep Reach Wire Wheel Brushes

    Today I received a 16" Wire Wheel Brush ordered from autogeek.net http://www.autogeek.net/derewiwhbr.html

I was looking for a long reach brush for my 2007 Lexus L460L with factory 18" rims. I wanted to get to the back of the inside of the rim when washing agitating the wheel cleaner.

This brush seems a little stiff , and has a nice big piece of metal at the tip (part of the metal banding to hold the bristles in place).

Think its safe to use for my intended purpose ?? Any alternate recommendations ??

Im using the brush from Meguiars, this works great, but i think its kinda short. This one have a rubber tip on it so its safe to use.

Have in order the EZ Detailing brush, but im not sure if this is longer than the brush from megs.

If the brush have a metal tip, i would be careful when i use it. Maybe you can make some sort of tip to put on it (eraser feks)

I use the following brush (the longer one) which I purchased from AG on my wide back rims on my Lamborghini, Viper and Mercedes and it does not nice job and has never scraped the wheels. Most brushes do have a metal tip on the end you must take care not to use the end of the brush.
