    Which pads for PC buffer?

    Hi all,

It's been awhile since I've been on. I just got a new black 2010 TSX. I need to replenish my detailing supplies starting with the pads.

I have the 6.5" country lake pads (I think). I have a white, orange, and grey pad. Since both cars now (2005 Ody and 2010 TSX) are in really good condition regarding the paint, I just plan on using the grey finishing pad.

The grey pad absorbed quite a bit of wax/sealant before it was saturated enough to apply a thin layer.

Is there a pad that doesn't absorb so much product?

I was thinking of getting the CCS Lake Country smart pads. Would these be what I'm looking for?

If yes, which color...I have very soft Honda paint so I'm not looking to polish (at least not yet). I was thinking of the blue or red pads.

when using the PC, move to a 5 inch backing plate and 5.5 inch pads for extra power.

AG has some Hydro pads that should not absorb much polish.

I haven't received my PC yet, but my plan is to give the pad a light spray of QD. I've read this helps the pad not absorb all your product.
