    New hydrotech pads dirty?

I received a 3 pack of 4" Hydro-Tech Foam Pads from AG a couple days ago as part of a larger order. They were in a brown bag without any plastic wrap. I didn't think much of it but today I took them out to look at them and noticed some dirt, hairs, and/or particles on them. Has anybody else had this situation? Do you know what these are? I don't want to scratch up my paint when I go to polish it later this year. See attached pictures.

maybe they picked up something from the bag ?? I would wash them before use for safety and if a big issue contact Meghan and sure something can be done.

Give them a good cleaning and they will be fine. I have had pads come like that, not from AG, and they just collect fibers from bags and other places, a good cleaning will rid the pad of contamination and you are good to go.

I'm surprised. I would have thought they would have came individually factory packaged, like other Lake Country and Meguiar's pads that I have bought in the past.

I know the normal LC CCS 4" pads do not come wrapped, only ones that I have got that were wrapped were 5.5"+ pads.

Yes, I got some of the 6.5" HT pads as well and they were all wrapped. I just went and looked at them and allthough they are wrapped they ALSO have the particles!! Not sure if they were wrapped by AG or LC...
