Not to my knowledge.Does any manufacture out there offer a 3" forced rotation orbital (DA) ?
My several year old 3" Griots expired tonight and looking for a replacement (that wont stall upon correcting).
Not to my knowledge.
I at one time had bought the griots g8. Worked decent but it stalled and just was not my cup of tea.
So instead i returned it, and purchased the flex 14-2 150 rotary. I i have shaft extentions for it along with 3 inch backing plate and 3 inch pads along with bigger pads and such.
Didnt have a rotary prior to and it was best choice. I use it so much and has made its money back and then some. I also have supa beast. Flex makes damn good machines imo.
Think about it this way, a rotary can do everything and more than any 3in da can do. And the small difference in size moot

Ok, good luck in your quest.Yes, I have several FLEX ...as I have in my signature. Thank you for the repsonse.
3" Forced rotation is whats desired.
^^ I actually find the G9 quite capable. Of course it can stall. You should use less pressure when using smaller tools - pad size - according to one well known detailer because of the smaller pad it spins faster. So I started to use a lighter touch on the G9 - compared to the G15, works fine.
Flex PXE80?
That may be exactly what i'm looking for if it is indeed forced rotation...I watched the video of Mike P demo'n the unit and read the product description...and don't see mention of forced rotation.

Thank you for the mention of this unit!
The PXE 80 is not forced rotation but it has good power but can stall if not using proper technique (level). I use it a lot and like it. Much more power than the similar but smaller Rupes Nano. Also realize it may have less power than you’re looking for because it is also battery powered.
The PXE does not offered any forced rotation, but it does have a rotary drive to use with the 1" backing plate. But if you use the 12mm function unit, this machine is a BEAST. You can put a decent amount of pressure on the machine and you'll still see the pad rotate. The PXE 80 is my usual go-to for a any spot buffs or tight areas I have to do.
Dont think i could get over that trigger design. I was at one point b4 i got my flex 14-2, i looked at the flex kompakt 3...but it has the same trigger design as the xfe 7-12, so i decided against it.Thank you for the clarification.
I think i'll just go for the XFE 7-12
