Nanoskin / Micro Buff DA 15mm polisher
Only found a small limited number of threads on this polisher here. I bought one since it was on sale for $199 a couple of months ago and I was going to be away for a while. So now I’m looking at it and it appears to be a Rupes 15 Mark II clone. It has the Mark II trigger, mid rubber bumper to rest the buffer upside down so you don’t get the pads dirty. It looks EXACTLY like this:
NANOSKIN MICROBUFF 15mm Long-Throw Random Orbital Polisher – NANOSKIN Car Care Products
Does anyone have experience with this model? Just curious to see if it’s worth keeping. Specs look almost like the Rupes 15 polisher except the Nanoskin has a 750 watt motor. I figured, since it has a Bosch motor, I’m giving it a shot to be used on a 2013 Toyota RAV4. Anyone have this polisher? Does it perform just as good as the Rupes? It came with the washer mod. Should I install that (instinct says no since the manual says it will run just as good, with or without the mod).

Never used one myself...
Actually did know it existed.

Not to sound like a broken record but the best rated non rupes/flex is the griots Boss. If you paid $200 for that return and get the boss 15. A steal at $224 with life time warranty

Nothing Micro about a 15mm long throw DA.
Confused on why they included a washer mod and then say it wasn't necessary because it will preform just as well without it.
I'm with returning it and getting a Griot's with a lifetime warranty for a few bucks more.

Funny, griots did same, included washer mod. Said nothing about using or not though
