Pressure washer kinkless hose
Looking to replace my hose on my ryobi to a kinkless (rubber?) hose. It’s 2300 psi and 1.2gpm’s. Their was a thread here or on autopilot with good info in it but I can’t remember or find it. I’m looking for the proper diameter of hose 1/4, 3/8 or whatever fits. Recommendations on brands would be nice too.
Thanks in advanced

Have you looked into Flexzilla? No experience with their pressure washer hose, but I have their garden hose and I’m satisfied with it.

MTM ones from Obsessed Garage or MTM directly.

I replaced my Ryobi with a Flexzilla.
You just have to straighten it out before using to unwind the circle.
It lays fairly flat and never kinks.
I suppose if you left a loop in it and pulled hard it would pinch.
A much better hose than the stock pvc(or whatever material)

Funny you post this I just replaced a hose myself. I was about to kill the poor little Ryobi over the garbage stock hose. Grabbed a 30' 1/4" Simpson. Felt good out of the box I will let you know how it works.

The mtm was what I was gonna buy but in other thread I mentioned some guy had issue as I believe Kobrajet is 3/8 hose and ryobi uses 1/4. On site obsessed garage guy says that hose runs no problem on ryobi but he’s not personally using a ryobi (I wouldn’t either with a kranzle but won’t spend that money to spray water). Other guy ryobi was his “daily driver”.

I'm using a 1/4" single wire PW hose on my SPX3000 from Kleen-rite. Super high quality (made by Continental) and is in near mint condition after two seasons of use. Only cost $60 + some 3/8" MTM adapters.
50' Black 1/4" Single Wirebraid Hose with 3/8" Ends - Kleen-Rite Corporation

I’m looking for the same type of hose to replace the one on my AR Blue power washer. Anyone replaced one? Why are plastic hoses a thing anyway?

I have the 30' Simpson as an extension to my 25' hose on my Simoniz pressure washer. It's an upgrade from the super cheap hoses that come with basic pressure washers but it's not perfect. I will not kink, but it do tend to coil up a little bit, it's much worse when it's cold outside too.
If you want top of the line hoses, you might want to check Obsessed garage and see what Matt proposes. He tests everything. Only downside is that his recommendations are often very expensive. On a hose I think it would be a good investment since it's something that lasts a long time and can cause quite a bit of annoyance when you use a poor product. You will need to buy adaptors if you want to replace the basic hoses with high quality ones. You should watch the Ryobi testing videos Matt did on his youtube channel.

Cost? Why else do companies sell crappy stuff? Cheap plastic hoses do the job, it's just annoying to use them.
