microfiber towels used for power lock
ok so i saw on youtube that the towels you use to wipe off powerlock cannot be washed out so you need to dedicate it just for that. so then i was wondering, if it does not wash out, then would you even bother to wash it and just use it and throw it out similar to a coating towel?
i know after a wipe down you can feel the residue on the towel. but i figure if you soak it in soap and apc it should clean it. then again what do i know. how do you tell if it washes out? was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this. i know it is pretty difficult to get the powerlock out of the foam applicator pad but that is super saturated with a lot of product while a towel will only have a lighter residue on it. mahalo for your responses.

can you send a link to the youtube video that says they can not be washed out? I'm just curious why not?

Re: microfiber towels used for power lock
If you wipe it after it hazed over then it's totally fine to reuse. if you used a towel to apply (not the way I'd go about doing it) then I could see it being an issue. My black pad used for DGPS is impossible to clean and can only be used for that. But once you apply and wait enough for it to be wiped away it doesn't stick to the towel, a regular wash is all it needs.

This is on your paint. Better to use a low gsm cheap but quality manufacturer new towel than one you tried to save.
