Two ways, they leak and I have had the spray head pop apart when squeezing. This happened on both the V07 bottles and the fragrance bottles. It really aggravates me.

So these are the pre-filled product bottles, not the generic empty ones? The pre-filled CG bottles I have cannot be opened and refilled. They are not high quality.

I'm talking about the clear, empty ones with gray trigger top.

Honestly imo the standard griots red/white trigger that comes with their 22oz products has been my all time favorite and I still save mines until this day. I believe they are exclusive to griots products, but they make them reusable unlike quite a few products out there that purposely put a lock so when you try to reuse it breaks the trigger. Something about the brand Griots and being Ergonomic, I feel thats one of the traits of Griots from triggers to poolishers! Even with their polishes the cap is very useful.

Other than that, the autogeek chemical resistant gray ones have been pretty ergonomic.

I purchase my sprayers at the local Janitorial supply shop. They have 2 kinds, regular ones come in 3 colors (blue,red and white) and the chemical resistant ones come in gold. They last a long time. In fact I think I have only lost one last year and it was on my Wheel Brightener bottle I think. That stuff is pure acid so it makes sense.[/B]

The spray pattern is "off" on maybe 25% of them, so I pick out the good ones to use with products that need a fine and consistent spray pattern (think spray wax). The sprayers are ergonomic and last a long time.

One fun tidbit is that McKee's N-914 at 1:32 degrades the connector stem in a similar fashion to Meguiar's D120. My bottle of N-914 at 1:32 isn't yellow like the D120 bottle, but long exposure to the concoction is definitely harming it.[/B]

Interesting. I have over 20 CG bottles now and not one has failed on me yet. These the ones with the gray head, available on Amazon for around $10-$11 per 3-pack. The are even better than the industrial-strength ones made by Zep. How are yours failing?[/B]

Yep, the pre-filled bottles. The ones I have can be refilled, at least the couple I've tried. I haven't checked all of them. I refilled the V07 and a few of the fragrances. The spray heads are junk. They may only be made to last for one use.

I just ordered (10) more of the Tolco 320ARS (acid resistant black/gold) spray heads in order to get all my sprayers to match.
I've acquired a wide array of generic spray heads/bottles over the years. Some have worked OK, but many are junk. The Tolco's are better.
I finally decided to just go uniform across the board and replace all my non-Tolco sprayers.

One other thing I like about the Tolco's is that they have a nice wide flat section on the top of the sprayer that is great for applying your own labels.
When using generic spray bottles, it nice to have the content label on top of the spray head in addition to the side. Makes identifying them a whole lot easier when they are stacked in a bin or bag.
