    Scangrip with tripod.

    Scangrip with tripod

Just ordered this up. SCANGRIP Multimatch Tripod Single

Looking forward to some additional lighting for engine bay detailing, interior work, and also paint correction. I like the idea on being on battery or A/C.

Sounds like a pretty nice setup!

Snatched up one of those (multimatch w/ tripod) during the holiday sales; haven't had a chance to use it in a 'real' situation yet. Would be nice if they offered the hard-sided case as an option without buying the whole kit but have yet to find that available in US. They do have a nylon carrying bag for the Multimatch but still can't track down one in the US.

I will definitely write a review. I will be mounting it to the wall so I can hang it and charge it when it's not in use.

    Re: Scangrip with tripod.

I have not used their tripod but I have used the whole Scangrip system and it's worth every penny. Nothing I've ever used takes more impressive before and after pictures and you WILL NOT miss a swirl or holigram. If I wasn't so partial to the PDR style lights I would have more than just the sunmatch in my personal collection. A good friend of mine has been using his daily for a year and a half now and it's still going strong!
