European random orbital polishers
Hello.
I recently bought an GG6 da polisher, it is great. At this point dont need anything else. But my problem is, I bought it from US where the socket style is different and has 110v output. Thats why I have to use somekind of power reducer, because here in Europe where I live we have 220v so all the time i have a heavy metal box dragging all the time in a wire, that annoys me. So the question is, could someone guide me to direction for good da polisher with western european socket and 220v. I know Rupes but it is a bit out of my budget.
cheers!

The terms of use of the forum here are designed to keep discussions focused on products sold by Autogeek so we might not be of much help.
There is a member here, Mike@DedicatedPerfection, who is an American living in Germany at moment. He seems to have a pretty good handle on what is available in the Euro market and might have some advice if you send him a PM.
Also, I'm not sure where you are from, but I have lurked on a UK forum a couple times when doing some research. The members there might be able to recommend a good 220v product that is sold across the Euro Zone if there isn't a good forum in your home country.

Ohh I thought autogeek is Europe based. Anyway thanks for some info, will try to get some more info from Mike.
Also UK has some different plug and I think voltage too, but not sure.

This would be my starting point. There is a huge selection of polishers for sale in Europe with the correct voltage and CE certification and polishing without dragging out a transformer is just nicer

I lived in Germany for three years and had a ton of those power converters and you are right they are heavy. They are also expensive. I had a couple of the smaller ones burn up. Not the safest device in the world. You might try your version of eBay or Ailibaba.

Check out the FLEX 3401. It is forced rotation rather than random orbit. Since FLEX is manufactured in Germany, they should have 220 volt machines.

Dodo Juice sells a branded DA. They're based in EU.

Re: European random orbital polishers
I have heard about FLEX it's just a bit out of my price range. Also RUPES make 220V but this time I am looking for something cheaper.
Will take a look at that Dodo Juice. But that wa the reason why I am asking for help, because I havent heard about any of those brands. Krauss, Dino, Dodo Juice and others. DA polishers can be bought I am just looking which one is better.
Thank you for your help.
