Word of mouth is the best advertising. I have my biz name and number in the back window of my truck plus its on my mobile trailer. I have a website so people can go look at my prices after asking how much to detail my car and i have a FB biz page with before and after pics. 2 years so far and no paid advertising. Pour your heart and soul into it and your clients will give you referrals. Stay connected to Autogeek

I do know what works for sure,cause I did it twice.Go to your local news paper publishing dept and pay to have a sticker of your services stuck on every news paper sold on the front page.it will set you back 650.00.

I had my friend create me a basic, albeit crappy website but got it on the top of the first page of google for my local area, was the best $40 I have ever spent. Phone rings like crazy some days and I never have a day that I don't get at least 4 calls. I've heard it before, if you're not in google you don't exist, and I believe it.

Interesting. How did you get on top of the Google search page? I am in the process of doing SEO for my website and it's pretty complicated so far. The best tool seems to be Google Keyword Planner but you need to have an active Google Adword campaing to use it. Since I am not opened for business for about an other month I am forced to wait.

Would really like your insight on doing this, any tip would help.

Vistaprint sells cheap business cards and can make your own design, but again word of mouth and social media. Since social media seems to be the only way people communicate and forgot how to talk in person.
