    Re: Waterless/Rinseless Wash without Wax

Meguiars D114 leaves nothing behind and works great.

    2. pheerix: why do you think your D114 towels are grabby compared to Uber? Is it the MF's or the RW solution?

    Thanks.

It's definitely the solution. I'm using the same towels. I've never tried Ultima but from the descriptions I've read it sounds like it'd be similar to how Uber behaves. I think both have their places. Uber for one step Rinseless/waterless with slickness and gloss left behind. D114 for pre-correction washes, pre-LSP wipedowns, and maintenance washes before using a dedicated LSP.

In your opinion, how does D115 compare to Uber? And at what dilution do you mix your D115?

It could be argued that D114 leaves
    behind some SLES.

    Then again:
    Many car-care cleaning products
    have the same issue.

Very similar. Splitting hairs but I'd say D115 has a bit better cleaning ability, slickness and gloss. Even cleans wheels well. I used 1:8 initially and now 1:4. However Uber is pretty darn close and has a much better dilution ratio for waterless. D115's scent, while good, can also get a bit overpowering in the garage.

Uber is pretty much Ultima 'double plus.'

    Ultima: V8.
    Uber: Supercharged V8.

Ultima is a GREAT product, and Uber simply takes it a step further.

About drying towels and D114... I've noticed what you said, and it depends on the lsp. Some (like 4* UPP) feels smoother during the drying stage, while others feels grabby/squeaky.

I find it lifts dirt better. Leaves a smoother (less grabby) finish. I like the look after. I find it just as versitle as ONR. Doesn't stain the wash Media. 1oz gives me 3gal of wash solution.

I also like the BF waterless, I mix it like a Rinseless.

I like the smell of BF Rinseless (sour apple). Not as slick as Uber though.
