What's the best use for Green Polishing Pads?
Over the past couple weeks I mistakingly ordered too many green pads and honestly not sure How I messed that up.
Anyway, what is the best use of them outside All in One type products or cleaner/waxes which I hardly ever use?
Would a green pad work okay with a Menzerma SF4000 or SF4500 at all? Normally I use a white pad for those products and they do well. From there I go to a sealant. Is green too soft and would it be a waste to use them with SF4000 / 4500? My cars are usually in fantastic shape blemish wise so even a white pad isn't really necessary but I'd use the above if it would help produce a nicer finish.
Just trying to figure how I will use them or if I'll trade them away.
Thanks in advance for your input.

There are too many variables to say yes a green pad will work with 4000/4500. Green is only minimally less cut than a white pad so I would think that it would work very close to the same as white.

They're my go to pad for HD Speed, enough cut to get most jobs done but won't mar on most paints.

I don't have the PDF chart comparison handy but is HD SPeed Equivalent to say the two products I mentioned?

HD Speed is an AIO. Compound, Polish, and Sealant. I too use the Rupes Green Pad with excellent results.

Thanks everyone. Looks as though I can probably use them on both cars and any of the AIO or nice polishes since niether have much in the way of correction really needed. Just after winter, perhaps some light marks.
They are Hex Logic Green pads BTW.

Re: What's the best use for Green Polishing Pads?
The green hex logic is very open pore, so don't use a lot of product.
But yes, its a great one step pad and can be used with.
Menzerna 3 in 1
HD speed
Finishing sealant griots
Sf4000
Sf4500
Pf2500
Its a versatile pad.
It is under discussion rather the white hex logic is a heavier cut then the green.
Some say the green is heaver then white, some say that the white is heavier then the green.
It says so on different sites.
Either way its a good pad.
If you bought to many of them post them for trade on the samples thread, one mans junk is another mans treasure.
Maybe someone will trade you for the pad you really like and keep a few of the hex logic green
