Re: Rechargable Sprayer/Washer - Yes or no?

I've thought for awhile about doing something like this. So, I'll throw out another idea for anything who might read this thread.
If you have a compressor, you could use something like a paint pressure pot to store the wash in. The advantage would be the ease of adjusting the pressure for what you wanted to do with the sprayer.

Having washed my vehicle twice since the original post all the while thinking about this issue I have come up with the following:

This tool is a marginal, at best, pressure washer and a REALLY NICE SPRAYER!

Got mine all configured and working. Does a great job for what I'm looking to do in the garage for my modified rinseless wash system. Should do well in both summer and winter.

    Definitely wanna try this setup!

Quite a few people have been doing this already. It's called air injection washing. Works awesome you can remove alot of heavy dirt with it and use very little product.

Here's an updated pic showing the use of the stock coupling. Helps with better water flow and smoother operation.

Good stuff! I like the idea of using a compressor like that and would if I was a detailer and had a shop. For me the average joe such a set up is pretty elaborate. I did this not so much for pressure as it's not a pressure washer, but rather a better means of pre-soaking and then a quick post-wash rinse off of areas like rocker panels and door jams; especially on really dirty days. Also is great for using ONR on my wheels with a brush.

Less water wash vs waterless. I plan on washing our van Saturday and look foward to using it.
