Re: What a difference a compound makes..
Once again, proof you can get amazing results with an OTC product!
Did you use claybar prior to polishing?
Now get busy, you have a whole truck to do to make the rest match!

No I didn't claybar this time around because it didn't need it.. I had used the Nano Towel on the hood and roof about 3-4 weeks ago just before applying sealant on those 2 panels. The rest of the truck is smooth.
I got done with the front half of the truck including sealant as it was beginning to get dark. It's going to rain tomorrow morning and all day, but I don't care because it's all protected now. I can't wait to see the beading
I plan to do the same to the truckbed Monday and have the whole truck looking cleaner than ever😉

Nice. Ultimate Compound is my go-to for most light duty needs. Had to use the new Foam Cut Compound today but there too, OTC products have proven awesome.
Follow up your truck with some Ultimate Polish on a white or perhaps green pad and you'll really be pleased.

Wow. Really makes me want to polish my white Xterra now. I hadn't planned to just because I wasn't sure I would see a big difference but this just goes to show that it's possible. I'm amazed at how much "cleaner" it looks.

I followed it up with M205 on a Megs Thin Foam Polishing Pad on a section of the roof. It looked good, nothing dramatic. But the truth is I ran out of time.. I had hoped to get up early tomorrow and polish & seal, but the forcast says it's going to start raining between 3-5am.
So I had to scratch any plans of polishing and quickly finish up.

Gotcha. Missed that. I just love U.Polish so much and it makes such a nice clear finish when used with a white or green pad that I jump to it often.
Good luck with the weather. I put another coat of BLACKFIRE BlackICE Hybrid Montan Sealant Wax on my Audi tonight as we're supposed to get rain Sunday too.

The neighbors probably think I'm making a mistake waxing the truck today, but what do they know. Lol.
