    Bird Poop Etching

My wife used my car on Thursday, (2007 Black Lexus) parked under a tree and was attacked by what must have been the worlds largest bird. Car was parked out in the sun most of the day, as soon as she got home she told me about the bird poop, I went out washed it off but it was too late, already etched the paint. I tried to get the etching out by using 360, and then some Mothers Power Polish I had by hand but it didnt work. If I use my PC will either one of those take it out or am I going to have get a little bit more agressive?

Since you got to it the first day I would think that either of those with the PC would get it out.

    Least Abrasive Product First:
Always begin the removal process with the least abrasive product before ‘stepping-up’
    a) A safe solvent (Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), Simple Green® Aircraft & Precision Cleaner,
    Stoners
    Tarminator or Mineral Spirits
    b) Detailer’s Clay (Light, Medium, Heavy grade or the Hi-Tech Body Sponge™ -

    ADS http://
    c) A chemical / abrasive paint surface cleaner (Zaino Paint Cleaner Z-PC or Zaino All-In-One Z-AIO)
    d) An abrasive polish (suitable to remove1000, 2500, 2500 or 3000 grit scratches)
    e) Wet-sand with 2500 / 3000 grit finishing paper
    f) If the surface has been etched use an abrasive polish and a polisher (Rotary or Random orbital)

    It works like this-

    Going Through the Grits:
What does this mean?” no it’s not a reference to eating breakfast in Georgia! It’s a very similar idea to ‘Least aggressive first’ it refers to the process of using different grit finishing papers of progressively finer grit or foam pads with progressively denser foam to get a smooth finish. By going through the grits each progressive piece of grit finishing paper or foam pad removes the scratches from that previously used.
