Re: What to use on weatherstripping?
I use 303 Aerospace right now, but once my supply runs out I'm going to give the 303 Rubber Seal Protectant a try. I've also used Gummi Pfledge in the past with great success.

•Did you mean (depending on the carrier-system):
-Water-based; or Petroleum-based?
•Both types of emulsions have "silicones".
-Water-based: milky-looking ("PDMS" silicones)
-Petroleum-based: clear-ish ("DMS" silicones)
•Here's Meguiar's D180 ingredients that's listed
on its MSDS---Has lots of water, silicones (PDMS),
even some petroleum---kinda runs the gamut:
-Ingredients:
•WATER............................................ ......60-80%
•POLY(DIMETHYLSILOXANE)......................10-30%
•HYDROTREATED MIDDLE DISTILLATE.......3.0-7.0%
•CONDITIONERS..................................... ..< 5.0%
•9-Octadecenoic acid (Z)-,
ester with 1,2,3-propanetriol......................1.0-5.0%

Nevermind, I just got off the phone with Meguiars customer service and was everything but directly insulted 1st for asking this question, and 2nd for having the nerve to even think about using it on my rubber weatherstripping...
Ahh things aren't what they used to be. You'd figure they wouldn't talk to someone who's calling in to ask about their Professional products the way they just did to me.. I shouldn't say "they" based on just 1 experience, but I haven't felt so insulted in quite a while. And worst of all, when it was all said and done, the youngster on the line didnt even answer my question. Ok I'm done venting - _ -
