How to polish the narrow window frames?

I am working on my '95 Lincoln Town Car and the tops of the door frames are only about 1.5 inches wide. It didn't receive much TLC from the previous owner, a funeral parlor.
Would you even try to DA that (4"pads) or just do them all by hand with small microfiber polishpads? Afraid of too many chances to screw up the paint.
I am using Menz Intensive, Final, Glaze, Wolfgang Sealer, Soveran Wax.

I hit those spots on my old eagle talon with the 6.5 pads with the DA but after doing with tape on the seals.
Well .... lets just say that a new Ferrari 430 Spyder was delivered to me last week. In that week I would have drove it by all those previous girlfriends who said I would never make it

I might then look at my 4"pads on the PC. I had resisted that with the edges but could just run quickly with the heavier polish. I just finished the bumpers wtih the 4" pads and it went pretty well. Like that Soveran wax.

I miss my Eclipse! I could wax that sucker so quick compared to this Town Car. Just reaching across the roof is a pain. But it's a babe to drive on a long trip.
