Re: New Rupes Polisher AMMONYC
For what it's worth... this is why I brought in a car with some curves. I wanted to put this new version to the test.
You can see pictures of the production version in action here,

Todd, Alberto and I used the new tools today to do an extreme makeover on the above 1951 Mercury. I was very impressed with the tools after compounding and polishing the paint on this Merc.
We used production units and you can kind of see them here,

Bigger motor 30% more power and is better on concave edges and contour edges.
Im so excited for the art of detailing as this post is for the Rupes cry babys that said "the boss is a chinese made crap machine buy the original"
Sadly ignoring that the Boss topped the Rupes hands down. In power and comfort.
They also said that 500w is more balanced and ideal and 900w is overkill and useless :| riiight
I guess I don't know why they increased the power of this one then lol.
I told the Rupes fans that , Rupes will make a new machine and this is nothing but good for our industry.
If the 21 was never topped we would be at a standstill and we would never get innovation and improvement on what already is.
Dunno man. I think the video speaks for itself. You think it's some type of response to the Boss? I really doubt it. It's just a company improving their product and listening to their customers.

Mike P, such an expensive paint job: yet such a lacking polish job. Great work! Looking forward to your thoughts and write up on the new Rupes polisher.
Thanks again for everything you do and share for the detailing industry.
