    Rim Rash suggestion

I beat my record not curbing rims for 10 months on a new car There are mostly 3 dings not bigger than .20". I was thinking to get it fixed myself but don't want to make it look worse. Main concern is color match It is Mazda's 2014-2016 OEM rim.
Also, if someone can recommend affordable service in NY(C) area I would probably take it there.

If you are prone to ding and curb rash I would leave it alone.

Someone on here repaired one themselves the other day. Turned out pretty good. I'll see if I can find the post

Let a professional deal with it,the time labor taping and paint cost and maybe a screw up it will all add up to letting a,professional do it and the exact color code. The wheel paint in store deosnt have the same durable chemicals in it .Clear from a body shop is way stronger that one wheel will probably set you back 180 to 250 .

Theres a few places in NY area. Not sure where you are, but I had mine done at Elite Rim Repair in Long Island. Mine are 20" and cost $150 each to fix.

    Re: Rim Rash suggestion

Even being NYC resident I was never quoted more than $125 p/r (they don't care it is chip or a whole rim). Even for my previous cars I was lucky to negotiate for $85 cash, but by some luck the rest 3 were fixed for FREE
Funny thing is there is nobody provides neither body touch up nor rims professionally in NYC
@mleun481, I noticed some wheel repairers making a quick buck sending the rims to someone else. To refinish for $150 probably you got special rims. I can find in perfect condition used one for $130 (Mz3) no need to fix rash for $125.
I'll just keep rolling, these prices are ridiculous for few mm scratch $125, it is not garaged collectible anyway. Even few shops out of city where "ashamed" to give me a quote, they told me to get bigger rash then come back, whaaa
