Any D115 users?
Thinking of trying D115, I am fairly new and have been using Cg eco wash. Its a good product, but I want to stick to all the meguiars stuff.
The CG wash dilutes 16:1 and is about $90 a gallon.
D115 is $62 here but says to dilute at 4:1, but then I read where they say you can go up to 20:1 depending on conditions??
I would be ok with 8:1 or so $ wise because I hear its a great product.
Post up your dilution ratios or any input.

Any D115 users?
I am a D115 convert. Was previously using ONR and OptiClean but D115 is just plain awesome. I use 1:8 ratio based on others suggestions and it works great.
Here's my initial review

Re: Any D115 users?
I just bought a gallon of D115 to try out in lieu of the quik detailer and spray wax that I have been using. Even at a dilution ratio of 4:1 that is 5 gallons of product for $62. The quik detailer was costing me about $11 for a 22 oz spray bottle. That equates to about $33/gallon or $165/5 gallons. Then add the cost of the spray wax. If the D115 performs as I have it planned it will be a significant savings.
I've only used it one time so far (at 4:1 dilution) and it performed well but I'm not proclaiming victory quite yet. I need to use it a few more times before my final verdict although I will say I'm happy so far.
As for dilution ratios, 4:1 is the standard dilution ratio but the instructions say it can be diluted up to 20:1 for use in direct sunlight. I would think if it works at 20:1 in direct sunlight (which I would never do anyways) it will work at 20:1 under any conditions. As I get more familiar with the product I may start experimenting with dilution ratios but for now I'm simply using it at 4:1.

Re: Any D115 users?
8:1 or 10:1 work equally well. 4:1 is frankly a very conservative ratio in case some users are using on very dirty cars. You're going to be a happy camper.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

Re: Any D115 users?
Thanks guys, I think I will order up and mess with the dilution ratios. I will start at 8:1 and adjust as needed. I use it in direct sunlight most of the time so more water is better. Also I only used distilled, I hear it makes it work even better than hard water.
