Re: Looking to pick up a new Sealant
All my vehicles are coated now but before that I used DG 111,Meg's M21 ,ULW and Collinite 476. All performed the same which is just ok, the last two winters here were just brutal and it is a lot to ask a sealant to last 4-5 months when your not able to wash at least once a week. A coated car is so much easier to clean, resists salt better and I'm glad I did it. The Collinite was the best of the sealants I used but you must apply thin

I'm not really concerned with "the best shine" as I am more concerned with protection more than anything else.
Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer
also can be use when drying

Re: Looking to pick up a new Sealant
^Picked the BSD last order but haven't tried it out yet.
Optimum Opti-Seal. Easy on and off. Just a spritz or two a panel. Almost wipe on walk away. It is if you don't over apply. Should be good protection. Have not tried in the heat yet.
Haven't tried the Ultima Paint Guard Plus. What didn't you guys like about it? I thought I had read good things.

Re: Looking to pick up a new Sealant
I have both SPNS and Opti seal....although I haven't used either on the paint yet, I have applied them to wheels....I put SPNS on my wheels about 2 months ago and it beads up very well still....this is in the hot AZ sun and Ive been known to drive free spirited quite a bit.
The Opti seal has only been on about a month on my wife's wheels and it was beading up nicely last time it was washed 2 weeks ago....I know it's not much info on it but it is VERY easy to use, which is why I mainly got it for my wife's car

I have an older bottle of Zaino ZCS which I believe is exactly like opti seal I currently have been using it as a topper over whatever I use. That may be something I pick up as long as my sealant doesn't need to "cure".

I use gg paint seal, as long as you put it on thin it's easy to work with, lasts about 4 months on my outside kept Florida black golf

What do you guys think about Pinnacle Black Label sealant? It claims one year durability I believe.
