Going to fix an old daily driver
My father's car is in its 14th year. Silver Grand Cherokee Laredo. He loves the thing and I want to clean it up for him. I've only worked on my relatively clean car so I have no clue where to start on his.
The paint is worn out. Some rust cracking threw here and there. The clear coat looks relatively in tact but obviously it's not in good shape.
My question is can I polish the car. Or should I use a cleaner on it. Or skip and go straight to wax.
Is there something that can dissolve the rust stains. Or do I need to touch up
I'm trying to keep it simple and quick.
Should my test spot be on a more damaged piece.
Any help would be appreciated

Wish I could help, all I can say is, you'll probably need some advice up close and personal by a professional.

I didn't want a full restoration. Just a little tlc. Not expecting perfection or even close
