Re: Jet Seal Vs Powerlock Sealant?

Odd. The Bottle I have from 3 years ago lasts 5-6 months when I applied 2 coats. I wonder if the formula changed?

I am a Jet Seal user and have excellent results. Heck it was my first sealant I've ever applied and worked flawlessly for 7+ months, thats how easy it is to use. Never used PL but based on these results i will shy away.

I also just received a sample of HD Poxy and can't wait to give it a go on my DD.

    ^^^^^^

    "Beading" doesn't always correlate to
    "protection" being present.

    Conversely:
    "Lack of beading" doesn't always
correlate to a "lack of protection".

    IMHO:
Due to their ability to create water-spotting issues:
You're really better off not using an LSP that "beads"!

Excellent sealant. So easy to use with wipe off being a breeze. One of the slickest sealants I have used. Durability is on par with BFWD or PL. A hidden gem.

Powerlock topped with Collinite 845 gets me no less than 6-8 months and looks amazing!

I got less than 8 weeks down here in Florida last summer. Daily torrential down pours and tropical UV's all day long toasted PL. HD Poxy lasted nearly 4 months + w/o any attention or added detaling sprays. If beading was the indicator of durability. Same for WG 3.0 & BFWD
