Suggestions to maintain Tesla Nappa Leather
Hi all,
I have a 3 month old Tesla with dark gray Nappa leather. So far I have vacuumed it regularly and periodically misted and wiped off distilled water with a microfiber. The owners manual says not to use any products on the leather but to me this doesn't make sense (leather is a natural material regardless of coating).
Can anyone recommend some products and processes to keep the Nappa leather clean and in good shape? Would be great to hear from those that have actually detailed a Tesla before.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply FUNX650.
This item you recommend shows for Nubuck and Suede. Is there somewhere that says it is suitable for Nappa leather?

•What are the differences, if any, between
Nubuck leather and Nappa leather?
•Nubuck is another way of saying:
-It's where the "Nappa side" of the leather is used.
(It is just polished to have a more velvet-like surface,
along with having a shorter fringe.)
•The LM-Kit I referenced is very "Nappa" compatible.

Re: Suggestions to maintain Tesla Nappa Leather
skyace888,
I have used Swissvax leather cleaner and leather milk on my 2013 MS for the past 2.5 years. They still look great. I've used DP interior cleaner to keep them clean on a weekly basis, and I've used Wolfgang leather conditioner as well. I just purchased some Connolly Hide Food to see how this works.
They've all worked well; I just like to try different things. So far, I've experienced only minimal cracking along the edges of the seats. Everything else is smooth and smells great.
Perfection is attained by slow degrees; it requires the hand of time. (Voltaire)

A quick wipedown of an interior cleaner is fine

Find an Optimum installer and get Opti-Guard for the interior. That would be your best bet.
As an alternative, try CQuartz Leather from CarPro.

Thanks everyone.
So it sounds like I have a few options between Leather Masters, Swissvax and CQuartz. Swissvax seems good but I don't think AG sells it. I have CQuartz coating on my paint and know CarPro products are generally pretty good.
