Good polish for removing swirls/scratches on black VW Golf?
Hey guys,
I have a buddy who wants some paint correction done. I don't have any pictures, but he has a black VW Golf that has some swirling and scratches, especially on the hood.
I have a Griot's myself as well as some Pinnacle Cleansing Lotion, Pinnacle Liquid Souveran, and Collinite 845. I don't want to spend too much time on this as I don't have a ton of free time.
I am still a beginner with all this, but I did my entire new F-150 and it came out spectacular.
I was thinking a good wash, clay bar, and then a good AIO?
Oh and I have white, blue and orange pads for my Griots. Will the orange be aggressive enough?
What do you guys think?

Okay...HD Speed and Orange LC pad it is! Top it with Collinite 845 to add some longevity?

I guess you could, but for the most part I try to use the same products from a company so I know they work well together. I'd top it with Poxy and it's very affordable.
This was Speed and Poxy and then 8 weeks later still beading after 24/7 in the Florida summer sun beating on it. Just took that pic Friday.

They have been for me so far, depending on the condition of the paint you may want a couple yellow pads on hand. I run at speed 5-6 whether on my Duetto or my GG21, like we used to say in the Air Force, throttle it BTTW.

Thanks! Now if I start with an orange pad do I need to then follow with the white and then the blue?

These were both done with my Rupes Duetto and Mini. HD Speed Orange LC Flat Pad, my Rupes Mini 4" HD Poxy LC Blue Pad. With Wash and wheels and tires exterior two step 5 hours with water breaks.

Same Combo done with my new GG21, 2009 Altima non garaged. That clear looks like it had a layer of candy coating laid on top!
