    Sanding disc recommendation?

Hey all. I am wondering which brand sanding disc you guys use for paint correction. I am planning on removing orange peel and some defects on my bro's E34
I hear rupes xcut is great. What about 3M or Mirka or others??
    Please share your experiences
Oh I plan on using them on my duetto with 5 and 3 backing plates.
    Thanks

The Meguiars Unigrit discs are great and about half the price of 3M

Please take lots of close-up photos of the process.

I love a good wet sanding thread.

    Paint Thickness Gauge.

Change your 1500 discs more often than you think.

    Work insanely clean.

I will try to. The car has major orange peel so it is going to be a lot of work.

IMO, I would pony up for the 3M line of abrasives between the two previously mentioned.

    Re: Sanding disc recommendation?

I believe Unigrit and Trizact are both manufactured by 3M.

I use the Unigrit 1500 and the Trizact Foam Backed Finishing Discs in 3000.
