Canvas convertible top stain and spot removal help wanted
I just bought a 2000 corvette convertible with a tan top. I was a kid again with his new toy so I thought I'd start the detailing project with the canvas top. That's when I noticed the stains and the spots appeared when I wet the top but weren't there when dry.
So I used a HD Concentrate and a short haired brush to clean and followed the directions... I thought I did a good job but after it dried and I applied the 303 Aerospace Protectant , the stains and spots were right back.. I was hoping they'd disappear like before. But when I checked this morning after 12 hours.. the stains/spots were still there. and look awful.
Now I've got NO problem repeating the process but I'm just looking for solutions from folks who have run into this problem and have been successful. Any advice would be greatly apprecaited.
Thanks in advance
