    Rigid Vacuum

    Hello all,

We bought the Metrovac about a year ago. I forget the model but it was over 300$. We were having problems the other day with the suction and used our cheap shop vac which seemed to have more suction. Nothing seems wrong with the vac and the filter is clean and bag is empty. I am now looking at the Rigid wd700 which says it has over 200 CFM. Have any of you tried it? Looks nice with the onboard storage.

    Thanks

I looked into that vac you pictured and almost pulled the trigger on it, but instead went with a metro v & b. I love the metro. Can I ask, what is wrong with yours?

    Re: Rigid Vacuum

Well the handle broke off and for some reason the clips that hold the front on aren't holding it tight anymore. I taped it up with gaffers tape to make sure it sealed but for some reason it doesn't seam as powerful as the cheap shop vac. At times it can hardly spin the turbo attachment where as the cheap shop vac spins it fast. I don't think it's broke, I think since we tried the shopvac we realized it just does't pull as much up.

I pulled the filter out and it seems clean. I turned it on with the filter out and it sounds like the fan is working fine. I just figure getting the most powerful one I can find will just make jobs go that much faster.
