Help with Compound/Paint issue
I recently painted this Cap Shield using Duplicolor Auto Paint from rattle cans. Got a beautiful finish and then hit with about 6 coats of clear. I then wetsanded and then buffed with McGuires Ultra Compound and everything looked really great. I did nothing else (no polish or wax etc) and then a few days later I see these finger print looking areas all over. I know I didnt get any paint transfer onto my pad, but I cannot get rid of these spots. You can see the spots in the rid area toward the left of the image. Any suggestions as to what went wrong and if theres a fix? Thank you so much

Re: Help with Compound/Paint issue
Here's the picture,
Sorry to say but I can't tell anything about what could be the problem.
Paint defects are either topical, that is just on the surface or below the surface.
If they penetrate too deep or if they are under the clear then they cannot be fixed.
