Does pollen affect paint sealant curing?

Just washed/clayed/polished my car then applied meguiars ultimate wax paint sealant to my car and shortly after a film of pollen covered my car. Will this affect the curing of the paint sealant? Will the pollen bond into the sealant?

It would probably depend on how long the coating needs to cure, what coating you're using and how long since you applied the coating.

Sealants usually don't take long to dry/cure; you should be fine. You may want to rinse the pollen off the paint though rather than letting it sit.

Re: Does pollen affect paint sealant curing?

    •I consider a Sealant to be a car-care product that's
    made from man-made (synthetic) polymers.

    •Pollen is a naturally occurring genetic-product that's
made from natural (Nature's Own) biopolymers.

    Therefore...IMHO:
•Since pollen's inherent architectural structure allows
it to "stick" to many objects/items...(including car-care
    products, such as Sealants)...

-This can not be a good thing for any of the items that's already been listed; the vehicle that's been adversely affected; or even the vehicle's owner, as far as that goes.
