Question Is it okay to continue a detail the following day?

This may be a stupid question...but I am exhausted (been working in the AZ heat all day). My truck is completely detailed including clay bar. However, I am wondering if it is okay for me to continue tomorrow and use my Griots to apply a cleansing lotion and then Collinite 845?

Assuming you're keeping the car parked in a garage, then yeah... If it accumulates a fair amount of dust or anything, simply do a quick rinseless wash in the morning before continuing.

Nearly every vehicle I work on spans multiple days.

I do that all the time. However, my car or the person's car that I am working on is garaged for overnight. If yours is not garaged then you would have to do a rinsless or waterless wash to do the other part.

I almost always split up my cars when I detail them.

I'll typically do the wash, clay and interior on one afternoon/evening. The next morning I correct and wax.

make sure you pre-hydrate, and continue to drink during the detail.
