    Tags on microfiber towels

I've been cutting the tags off. I'm afraid they may leave scratches. Do you guys do this too?

I always cut the tags off right before I wash/use them with these...

I cut them off as well; no worries unless you are rubbing the edge that had the tag on the paint.

I slowly rip it off. You can then pull the remaining piece out with tweezers or sometimes your fingernails.

That's almost the same as not cutting it off, isn't it? Leaving a little edge of the tag? As d33p said, the best is to rip or cut it and pull what's left out. Actually the best is to buy towels that don't have sewn-in labels.

I don't know of many quality towels that have sewn in tags. Most are stick on or don't have a tag at all.

That is certainly true--today. Some of us have been buying MF towels longer than others.

I just tear them off by hand. No cutting, that leaves the sharp edge of the tag still in place.
