DP Paint Coating, what went wrong???

I used DP Paint Coating on my son's car over the weekend. It beaded on the 1st day but on day 2 no more. This come after:

wash
decon with Nanoskin
compound
polish
Eraser

After the coating it topped it with Reload.

Where did I go wrong?

How long did you wait between the coating application and the reload?

I generally wait for an entire week after the coating application is done before I even apply anything to the paint...

I waited about an hour and a half. To say the least the reload should have bonded.

I would eliminate the ERASER step, and incorporate DP Coating Prep Polish as your last step before applying the coating. I haven't personally tested RELOAD with DP Paint Coating before, but I do know they're very different from a chemical standpoint. RELOAD is formulated to be used with CarPro Cquartz, or by itself as a long lasting sealant.

We can't stress this enough with coatings, but it's absolutely imperative that you follow the manufacturer's directions to the T.
