Best way to use DP Glass Restorer?
Hi everyone,
I've been searching previous threads about using DP Glass Restorer, but got a little confused - some love it, some experience more scratches than before.
For those who use it and receive good results - Could you advise which process do you use?
1) Should I use my Griot's or the Flex VRG 3401 polisher? (don't have a rotary)
2) What speed?
3) How much pressure?
4) Which pad? (I have LC CCS or HT, and also Meg's MF)
5) How many section passes?
6) Any other tips you could share?
Thanks!

If you have not already done it, I would clay as well.
I have not used DP Glass in a long time but believe it is mostly a chemical polish so typically you work it while it stays wet but not so much that that is slings, etc.

Re: Best way to use DP Glass Restorer?
It is a chemical cleaner with light abrasives. It will not remove heavy scratches or damage. It will remove general road ware and other items that make glass look hazy. It can be used by hand and/or by machine. Try to keep it wet while using (damp pad or spritz of water may help) in hot/dry areas. Always start light and move to more abrasive means only as needed.

On AG's website they advise a polishing pad, have you tried it with an orange pad with good results? Thanks a lot for the input

I used it and followed the advise on the product page. I ended up using my PC and a 4" Lake Country CCS polishing pad. It has a short working time so Nick stating to keep it wet is good advice. I didn't notice it leaving scratches behind. It did clean up the glass really well.
