Best Topper for A Coating
In your opinion what is the best topper for a coating (I have Cquartz on one car and Modesta BC-05 on another)?
The toppers I currently own are Shine Supply Wet Detailer, Kamikaze Overcoat, and Carpro Reload.
My goal is to protect the coating with a sacrificial layer that has similar characteristics to the coating(dirt release, resistance to waterspots, scratch resistance, etc.).
Also, have any of you ever tried putting Blackfire Wet Diamond (or a similar sealant) over a coating as a sacrificial barrier? BFWD is one of the slickest surfaces I have ever encountered, in my opinion even slicker than Modesta.

I love to use Sonax Polymer Net Shield as a coating topper and a stand alone product. When in a hurry I will use some hydro2. I just wish the hydro lasted a little longer.

IMO...
There are no reasons to ever use a "topper"
on Coatings: Defeats their purpose.

I wish you well in achieving such a lofty goal...
with a "non-Coating" product.

Absolutely NOTHING...in fact it should be a felony to do so.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

Well I guess I'm a felon and wasting my time but when a customer loves the way PNS makes some coatings "pop" and returns for that service I'm glad to top the coating after inspecting the paint for any recent defects. My customers are told this is for appearance only and no other claims are offered.

I agree with FUNX725 and silverfox.
...but, I do it anyway!
22PLE Final Coat or Dodo Juice Red Tropical Mist or CarPro Reload or Gtechniq C1.5.
I can't help myself. It makes little sense.

^^^You're okay.^^^
I've been known to have done similar things...
but just only with Sealants and Waxes.
I call this: "Stacking".
Yeah...that's the ticket:

Topping is just that...it's the icing on the cake for those who take pride in ownership. It's not necessary, but a qd, wax, or sealant can freshen and soften the feel making you feel all fuzzy. So go ahead and top if you like (I know how hard it is NOT to play with your toys), just make sure to use the same brand or a compatible product that is synergistic with your coating choice; not one that would sacrifice the cool beading or attract dust.
