Re: How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?
Wow I must be doing it wrong. I like to take my time working it in with the buffer, it take me longer using it because I work it to a nice haze. I like to do a spit shin like we did in the boots in the army. I want maximum shin and depth. I can't seem to get this by hand. I used the flex finisher the last time with a red finishing maybe crimson pad and meguiars #26 wax last two times. I found with the 6 and a half pad I needed to run at 4 to 5 to get a nice free spin with no pressure. I prime my pad with a little quick detail and then wax for the start and then a quick spray and 3 dots after. I think it must be faster for you guys because your just putting on the wax and I spend more time working it to try what I think gives me the max for shine and bonding. By hand I'm only wiping it on letting it bond and then wiping it off. Thank you all for your imput.

Thats what I do, I like to work the wax in with a polisher. Thats the right way imo. If you look at the paint under a microscope its all hills and valleys that need to be filled in. I just happened to finish putting 2 coats of synergy on my car and i took a pic
I'm still working on it. After doing the 2 coats of synergy and letting them cure I like to buff it down clean then put on a nice coat of carnauba by hand. I dont work it in as much when i do it by hand Ill get a pic later see if it looks better

Sorry I drop my phone about ten days ago and just got a new one. Thanks for your reply fightnews. I thought maybe I was out of my mind. Glad to hear someone else does the same thing.
