Re: How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?
Just got a flex 3401 and used it for headlight restoration on my wife's 2004 ACURA TL to get used to the machine. No more hand techniques for me... Way more fun with the machine! New to the forum so hello everyone!
Re: How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?
A lot depends on the vehicle. If you have large flat surfaces it's much faster by machine. If you are fighting lots of curved surfaces, machines will frustrate you.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.
Re: How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?
I have by machine but I still prefer to do it by hand. Doing it by hand allows me to feel the contours of the body and work the wax in those areas. I work the wax in so I usually don't worry so much about high spots.
Re: How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?
I started using a Cyclo around 1988. I could never do a car by hand. I do wax my Harley by hand though. Just because the size of the bike is manageable.
Re: How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?
Depends on the wax, if it's possible to apply with a machine then i probably will. The only wax i apply with machine is a Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. Which is okay i guess? But not great, i'd rather choose Auto Finesse Temptation actually but some customers prefer a really cheap wax beceause they don't notice the difference anyway so...
