    Interior glass cleaning

Can you use rainx on the interior? Probably not lol.... If not what is the cheapest glass cleaner for the inside?

I know a lot of people dislike rainx, but for the price is there a better glass cleaner with water beading abilities? Outside glass of course.

I especially like the aerosol version as it does not runoff as quickly as the sprayed version.

Stoners is nice. Works real good. I also have that extension tool. I would recommend some good glass towels. Check out the DETAIL MASTER PRO Premium Glass and Window Towel's from the rag company. These worked really good for me.

You can get the one with rain repellent for the outside. I have used it and the rain repellent was not noticeable to me within the glass cleaner.

You could take the extra step and clay, polish and seal your glass for something longer lasting than the 2 in one glass cleaner.

Stoners just came out with a glass treatment. You may want to look into it. Of course you always have rain-x glass treatment as well. Both are cheap and will last you a few months.

I just used this glass polish from DP with a PC 7424XP and it worked great. Removes that extra gunk that the clay bar doesn't get off. But I followed up with DP glass coating which is awesome.

Meguiars D120 for me. Cheap and dilutes a ton (1:10) so will last forever. $15.50 a gallon on AGO right now. Makes 11 gallons. Important to use distilled water for dilution.

that is what i use, particularly for interior glass.

i use it around the house too. great on mirrors and light counter/stove/kitchen cleaning.

all my exterior glass is coated so no need for special cleaners to get water sliding off. i just use opti-clean if i have to touch up between washes.

    Re: Interior glass cleaning

I have (and have tried) them all. I use Stoner's around the house about as much as I use good ole Windex with Ammonia-D , whichever I reach for first in the cabinet. I stopped using IG on auto glass a few years ago when I got my gallon of D120, and I use glass-specific MFs (waffle-weave or rib-knit). I recently got a GlassMaster Pro kit, but have also tried the CarPro FastGlass towels with plain water. They work brilliantly!

    Re: Interior glass cleaning

I just use a MF glass towel draped over the reach tool and use two per window. One with Stoner's aerosol sprayed on both the glass and the towel, And the other to dry and polish.
    Together they work really well.

I don't use any "treatment" on the inside of the glass. I have found that it attracts dust and whatever outgasses from the plastic interior pieces.
