Dealer Washed It. Do Not Wash Sign.
Definitely helpful. Thanks for taking the time to make the document and sharing it.
I printed them out since I have a service coming up this week.

I would put one on the passenger door as well as one on the windshield.
It's more than a car...Keep it clean

My next new car, not only will I ask to be present when they peel the protective films during PDI, but after the paint passes my inspectin I will put in writing that they may not, under any circumstance, "prepare" the paint before I take possession.

Not trying to be Funny, but you should do the sign in Spanish as well

I agree that it might be a good idea, but at both dealers I work at, a car does not get washed unless the key is placed on the wash board by the service advisor or unless they tag number is written on the wash list. I assume other dealers operate in a similar fashion and it's just not a grab bag of keys for people to take, but I agree that you can't be too safe.
I just realized I accidentally put the same picture twice in my first post. Here is the second one I meant to put as dealer does not always equal DISO. Most dealers will probably allow you to see how they wash cars if you request and you might find that your dealer does wash them in an acceptable way.

I don't know what is worse. The tunnel-o-swirls or the guy with an old scrub brush, grungy terry cloth towel, and a bucket of dirty water who washes the car out back.

Your idea definitely helped me , I printed out two letter siZe sheets , and taped inside the paper DO NOT WASH THIS CAR!! And 3 times mentioned it to service advisor , and the oil change station is very close to the drop off , so I could see where they taking the car. The guy had ironic smile when he saw the sign , but didn't say nothing ,just promised to make sure no one washes it.
The sign helped and I got through with no wash. But almost missed when in receiving area other dealer came out to check the work done, noticed the car not washed , wanted to bring it back, but I blocked the road and didn't let him, so fortunately I saw it happening and save my car , I guess now at the dealership anyone knows that they not allowed to wash it
Later during the week I did my first complete paint cleaning with Iron X and Magic Eraser and speedy prep towel , and compound and polish clean , and put pinnacle black label coating. Was hard to decide with what to go, I got C-Quartz , and few other coatings and some paint preserves , so I sticked with PBL and after PBL PBL Detailer Booster. Now it's looks awesome and shiny, and I am kinda proud of myself that I was able to make it happen, it took me 2 days and 2 nights , last night worked all night until sunrise, but I finished ️
