I usually give people a quote over the phone based on which package of mine they want the size of the vehicle. After looking it over, I told him it would be extra on top of the quote and he said that was only fair. BTW, he definitely got his money's worth.

Someone who's willing to pay over $400 for a basic wash and wax plus FULL interior and doesn't even open the doors to see what it looks like when it's done.

Exactly what I thought too, but they were actually just getting it detailed, no plans to sell.

It didn't even seem like there were expectations. It was kinda weird, although he wants me to come back and Opti-Coat is brand new Tesla...sometimes I have a hard time figuring people out

I have a neighbor like that. He has a couple of cars that stay pristine and a beater that gets trashed. He never washes it. He has it done once a year by the guy that does his other cars. because... well I guess just because.
