Cool collection. I used to go through Autofom like crazy when it was introduced.

I think this did turn into the "old guy thread".....LOL.

My grandpa recently passed away and I found several old products in his garage. Most unopened. My favorite is some TW in a glass bottle. I'll try and snap some pics.

    Another old guy chiming in..............
The Classic Mag Brite definitely brings back some memories. I spent more than a few hours in the late 70's into the 80's massaging the OEM uncoated aluminum wheels on my '77 Vette.
Classic was definitely the "good stuff" back then.

Add a few Meguiar's bottles and you were set:

And, of course, proper state-of-the-art equipment was also necessary:

Re: Old, vintage, antique, obsolete detailing products

Here is my latest find. This guys garage was a like a time capsule. Under a tarp next to this shelf was a 1960 Corvette that hasn't moved since the mid 70s!!!! He is a regular client that calls me out every two years or so for his 1996 SS Impala. I have asked in the past if I could have some of those old bottle but he said no because he wanted to hang on to them to wax his vette.

Last time out I offered to buy him new products for his vette. He said. " Aww the heck with it, go get what you want. You do my cars now anyway. It will help me clean out the garage."

    BOOM!!

Here is the view from the garage door.

This is when I got the box off the shelf. I SEE GOODIES!!
