Collinite 845 bottle's cap.
I know I know, everyone hates default cap. Here is my problem, shake the bottle before use, collinite starts leaking. Changed the bottle cap (used coke's bottle cap), shake the bottle before use, it still leaks from top.
Does anyone else face this issue?

Either transfer the #845 to another container that has a cap that's been proven not to leak..or wrap the threads of the original #845 container with some Teflon pipe tape.

go to your local beauty supply store, they should have some plain empty bottles (with flip tops) that shouldn't be more than a few dollars...

This is what I use. I purchased the flip top lid that was recommended with the product here at the AG store. I've never had any leaking issues.

What would we do without internet forums? I never thought of that...how much time have I wasted with bent paperclips or soaking bottle tops in hot Dawn?
Thanks, Bobby!
(Yes, yes, I should know that Dawn won't strip LSP's out of my caps...but maybe I was using it for polish, so there!)

I was a old Dawn dish soap top for mine, works great.

Re: Collinite 845 bottle's cap.
My cap when I just got it had a safety feature, probably child proof, had to press down and turn before it would open, however now to open the bottle theres no need to press down, just turn, it also just keeps turning, is the cap stuffed?
My other point is it used to be solid and turned to liquid after soaking in hot water for 5 minutes or shaking it vigorously. Now its liquid permanently, why is that?
