So after having a lively discussion a couple weeks back about when it's ok to get a new car, I ended up replacing my 14 yr old Altima yesterday (she was costing me $3k/year to keep running). Got a new-to-me 2011 Toyota Camry SE in Magnetic Grey Metallic--I must say, the flake in the paint is amazing.

But I digress...unexpectedly, the car came with window tint! Saved me a some money, but when I went to give the windows a good cleaning today, the top of all of them has that "gunk" that sticks to tint from the rubber seals in the door. Looked like the past owner never cleaned the top of the windows...like ever. My question to the fellow geeks is....

How do you all get that stuff off without damaging the tint? Do you just go at it with a MF and multiple applications of glass cleaner or is there anything stronger that will remove it without harming the tint? Plastic mini blade perhaps?
