    Coating on gelcoat?

    Has anybody tried coating gelcoat? Looking to pickup a new watercraft and would like to protect every surface. I know AG sells Marine31 and Megs marine products but am curious if anyone has tried any type of coating in the marine environment.

    Technically the answer is YES, however since gel coat is considerably more porous than paint, you have to use a lot more product.

    Thanks guys. Done gel coat with waxes and sealants, but not coatings thus the question.
