What's a better LSP: DG 601/105, PNS, OOS?

    Hey Autogeeks,

In your opinion, which is a better LSP in terms of durability (long Michigan winters with tons of salt), ease of application, cost (just a hobby) and glossiness for a black subaru, DG 601/105, Sonax PNS or Optimum opti-seal? I will be using AW as a drying aid and to help boost the protection.

    Thanks a ton!

I'm a Sonax PNS guy, I used OOS last year and was not impressed by its durability or water characteristics.

Another vote for PNS it lasted through the worst winter I've seen since moving to New York last year. I have yet to find anything that handles water in the same fashion either.
    It's all in the details

•Duragloss #501, even when used in conjunction with #601, is still...IMO...an AIO.

•Both Optimum Opti-Seal and Sonax PNS
    are dedicated Sealants.
-Either of these would be my choice for an LSP,
    over an AIO.

PNS is amazing and I'm a huge DG guy. PNS is the best sealant currently on the market in my opinion.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

He said 105, easy to get it confused though. It's the total performance polish not the marine all in one.

Threads like this make me want to buy PNS lol. When everyone raves about a product hard to not be impulsive to have it live with all the other impulse buys in my basement

Why hasn't anyone recommended #111? It's an amazing sealant in terms of both looks and durability, low cost and available OTC.

    That's what I would use.

    #105 or #501...doesn't make a difference:
    They're both AIO's!!

Sonax NetShield and Menzerna Power Lock seems to always come on top when these types of questions are posted.

So either of those products toped with Collinite 845 would be my suggestion for winter protection.
