    Storing chemicals already diluted?

Can I store chemicals (APC for example) already diluted? Or do them 'spoil'?

If you mean over a extended period of time..I would think so though just be sure to shake them vigorously every week or so.

If you are going to do this, you should use de-ionised water. We have repeatedly encountered users having issues with sediment when using certain tap waters to dilute products and store.

All the chemicals I use for detailing are water soluble so separation of spoiling have never been an issue. I also dilute using only distilled water, This avoids the possibility of contamination due to minerals and similar substances commonly found in regular tap water.

For detailing use, distilled, de-ionised, demineralised (etc) are all the same.

So, if I dilute according to directions with distilled water, the mixture shouldn't lose potency over a 6 month period?

Certainly not an APC. Whether that would be equally true of something like Hydro2 is a very different question.
